For the past 16 years, Karen Bainbridge has served as Treasurer for the Ontario Landowners Association (OLA). This is a volunteer position, as are all the OLA positions. Some months ago, Karen announced her decision to step down. We are pleased to announce that Maureen Geiler, Woodlawn, has agreed to be our new Treasurer. We welcome Maureen and look forward to working with her.
Jack and Janet MacLaren (Carleton Landowners Association) hosted a BBQ on September 8th where Karen was presented with a plaque as a token of our appreciation for her years of service. She was also gifted a large bottle of maple syrup from CLA president Greg Mount.

On hand to thank Karen, was OLA Vice-President for Eastern Ontario, Donna Burns. Earlier in the day, Karen met with OLA President Jeff Bogaerts, past OLA president Tom Black, and incoming Treasurer Maureen Geiler at the Royal Bank in Pakenham to update records for signing authorities.
Maureen will be contacting the chapters to introduce herself and get to know the county groups over the coming weeks. We look forward to a new and renewed connection with the chapters, continuing Karen’s great work.
