JoAnne Cooney, a director with the Carleton Landowners Association (CLA), has been busy organizing the first ever ‘The Mom Conference’. The goal of the conference is to provide Moms with the information they need so they can live their lives more informed and less stressed.
With over ten speakers covering topics such as financial planning , work-life balance, and how to stay sane through motherhood, there is also a not to be missed session on a “Day in the Life of a Politician”, featuring politicians from municipal, provincial, and federal levels of government. Look for MPP Jack MacLaren and the new Leader of the Ontario PC Party, Patrick Brown at the event.
The Mom Conference is an all day, kid-free event, being held at the Holiday Inn in Kanata (Ottawa), 101 Kanata Avenue, on Saturday, March 5, 2016. Childcare is available offsite at Kid’s Kingdom in Kanata.
The regular ticket price is $197 plus tax, and includes admission to all the presentations, automatic entry to win all of the door prizes (all valued at over $200 each), morning coffee break, lunch, afternoon coffee break, and take home Swag Bag full of goodies.
