If you are interested in hearing about property rights by some of the most popular speakers on the topic then you will want to mark the following dates on your calendar.
The Ontario Landowners Association is holding its annual general meeting on Saturday, October 24 at the Tyrone Community Centre, 2716 Concession Rd. 7, Tyrone, Ontario (near Bowmanville). Typically, the OLA directors will meet in the morning to discuss the business of the organization. This is followed by the general meeting in the afternoon, which includes the announcement of the President, Vice-President, and Governors, awards, and guest speakers. Following the meeting, we will have a roast beef dinner.
The Ottawa-Carleton Landowners Association will host its annual general meeting and conference on Saturday, November 7 at the Holiday Inn, Kanata (Ottawa). At our last conference in April 2014, our theme was “If you don’t know your rights, you don’t have any”. At that conference, we had many excellent speakers who shared their experiences and knowledge about property rights. We are planning a similar event with the idea of sharing information as broadly and widely as we can. This year’s conference will again focus on practical information to assist you in protecting your property rights. The conference will run from 9 AM to 6 PM.
Stay tuned! We will be announcing more information on each of these meetings, including the lineup of guest speakers.
