OLA Simcoe North Chapter AGM and BBQ – July 13, 2025

Hello OLA Members of Simcoe North Chapter and The Parry Sound & Muskoka Chapters

Things are shaping up for the Simcoe North And Muskoka Chapters Annual General Meeting and Executive Elections.

Those living in the Muskoka-Parry Sound area are encouraged & welcomed to join us to participate in our joint AGM as we have not received nominations as of yet from your members and we can discuss a timeline for a MPS Kick-off Rally in 2026.

It is still not too late to Email your nominations to: gerald.j.p.auger@gmail.com or call my cell at 705-491-1027 with the following information so I can contact them and verify their willingness to stand:

I would like to invite everyone to plan on arriving by 12 noon on July 13th (the Sunday) so we can start the AGM and elections @12:30/1PM.

The afternoon agenda will follow with our Speakers, including the Ontario President of the OLA Jeffery Bogaerts; Tiny Township Councilor David Brunelle, among others yet to be confirmed. All will be addressing property rights concerns working their way into provincial legislation and the local municipalities in our region. We expect to have you back on your way by 5 PM with plenty of time to meet and greet, ask questions and work on action plans for our next get together in the fall and 2026.

Cash donations will be accepted, as well as opportunities for new members to join the OLA chapter, so bring your friends & Neighbours!!!

Now, as never before is the time to gather, engage and get informed on what is happening, and what you and your Neighbours can do.

If you are available to join us the day before, on Saturday July 12th to help set up the tent, all hands would be appreciated and it will give you an opportunity to meet some of the active members who hope to serve on your executive.
