The Ontario Landowners Association (OLA) held their first Eastern Annual BBQ and Corn Roast on Saturday, August 10 in Haley Station, Renfrew County hosted by the Renfrew County chapter (Donna Burns) of the OLA. Dufferin County Chapter (Mark Tijssen) hosted the Western Annual Pork Roast BBQ in Amaranth, Ontario on Saturday, June 29th.
There was a very good turnout with members coming from Renfrew, Carleton (Ottawa), Lanark and Hastings Counties and even Cobourg. A lot of great food, a variety of different games played, donations from members for raffle draws provided a very informal and relaxing atmosphere.
It also provided a great opportunity for members to share with others some of their challenges and successes they experienced with some of the political interference and intrusions forced upon them against their private property rights. Even in these very challenging times, it was good to feel the unity and strength we share among us.
We ARE a strong organization comprised of loyal members who will all unite to educate and share information on the truth about private property and how it was intentionally kept separate by the British Crown from the rest of the Crown/public lands in this province.
In addition to the legislation created by the Province wherein it is the authority meant for the employees/agents working for the province and/or municipalities to comply to as part of their responsibility in managing and controlling the Crown/public lands.
