OLA Spring Directors’ Meeting in Cobourg April 23, 2022 by the OLA

That’s right! After more than two years of mandates and lockdowns, the Ontario Landowners Association is planning an in-person meeting. All welcome. Space is limited so let us know as soon as possible if you are planning to attend. Email info@ontariolandowners.ca by April 8, 2022.

On April 23, 2022, the Ontario Landowners Association will host a Spring Directors’ Meeting at the Cobourg Legion, 135B Orr Street, Cobourg. The meeting will begin around 9:00 AM and end around 4 PM in the afternoon. The OLA Exec is in the process of finalizing the Agenda and Menu. At this time, we plan to have coffee and donuts in the morning with a light lunch around 12:30 PM. Please arrive at 9 AM for registration, coffee and donuts.

The OLA is looking for topics of discussion for the meeting, for example, the Provincial election in June and Municipal elections in October. What would you like to discuss at the meeting?

If you planning to stay overnight on Friday night, may we suggest the following hotels in the vicinity:

Comfort Inn, Port Hope 2211 Hwy 28, Port Hope  905-885-7000  About 15 minutes away from the Legion.

Comfort Inn, Cobourg  121 Densmore Rd, Cobourg  905-372-7007   About 5 minutes away from the Legion.

Both of these hotels include a hot breakfast with the room. Breakfast is eggs, bacon, sausage, etc in their small breakfast room.

Best Western Plus, 930 Burnham Street, Cobourg.  905-372-2105  About 10 minutes from the Legion.  Has a restaurant open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

These hotels all appear to be about the same price range, around $150 – $160 per night.
